Over here at Daily Driven we have messed with plenty of 12V Cummins trucks. The first modification that we always suggest is Dynomite Diesels Fuel Plate Kit paired with this Governor Spring Kit. Trust us when we say you will not spend $160 on anything better on your truck. These springs will allow your 12V Cummins to fuel up to 3K or 4K RPMs.
This helps make the truck more drivable throughout the entire RPM range. You will enjoy way better response across the entire RPM spectrum. These are great not only for daily driving but will help decrease EGT's when towing as well.
